- Is Interdimensional currently accepting demos?
Not at this time! Please do not send us a demo without contacting us first.
For those of us who have sent demos from the United States please be aware that most of your packages are opened and we rarely receive the full contents. We do however receive the brochures inserted by homeland security ;)
On a daily basis we receive demos from around the world. If you’ve
sent us a demo in the past you are probably wondering if it was ever received
or listened to. They are listened to by
a panel of djs, producers, and promoters.
We don’t often have the time to reply to all submissions. We have a new
policy in this regard. As best we can we will attempt to send some form of response
to each submission. To be honest the best way to become part of our collective
is to become familiar with our artists. Send them feedback or trade remixes.
Networking is the key to success.
:: Our Demo Policy ::
If you do not have a press package made up we strongly urge you to build one. We require, at a minimum:
The music on compact disc , dAt or test press vinyl [no dub plates]. If you are
sending a cd ensure your files are in a readable format [wav, sd2, aiff etc].
If you are sending a dAt ensure it is
indexed properly and encoded at 44.1 kHz. In all cases label these legibly and
include bpms
. We also would prefer a
cover letter stating your objectives and purpose for sending the demo. Helpful
but not mandatory are playlists you have appeared on, reviews, graphics
concepts you have, photos, handbills from live appearances, an up to date bio,
and any previous releases.
